Buddy Holly was a great musician. His career and his life were cut short in 1959 on The Day The Music Died. He was the most original and innovvative of the founders of rock and roll. His way of playing the accoustic guitar, his introduction of the Fender Strat and the amazing lyrics that he put out were all unprecedented. Buddy Holly will always be revered by the great musicians. In the words of Eddie Cochran, "Buddy Holly, I'll always remember you... with tears in my eyes."
